I have come across an article on Yahoo, “A Harvard psychologist says people judge you based on 2 criteria when they first meet you,” by Amy Cuddy. She is a Harvard social psychologist professor. She says the two criteria are trust and respect. Can you trust and respect people the first time you them? I do not think so. This has to take time for these two qualities to be certain. Amy Cuddy says people evaluate you from an evolutionary perspective. That trustworthiness is the most important factor of the two (Trust and respect). This is due to a survival factor. Another thing she points out, students, in the case of the articles (MBA interns), concerns too much on being competent(respect factor), that they are likely to skip social events and come off as unapproachable. This can hurt in the job market. I am in this same boat. I am not very social and have been looking to get into my field for over two years. To me, I think companies in the field I went to school for, clinical research, are overlooking me. I do not have that trust factor, but the respect factor. I have B.S. and M.S degrees in clinical research. That is why I have turned to the internet to look for ways to make money. It is hard to work at Wal mart to pay back loans. Anyways, most people that I have accounted say I am trustworthy person. I do not believe you can tell someone is trustworthy and respectful in a first encounter. Welcome to my post, everyone. Making money online is more than that. Communication is the key to connecting with people. This is my second week on learning on how to make money online. I have learned about niche, finding new readers, ranking in search engines, attracting links to my site, finding the right keyword phrases, categories etc. through the Wealthy Affiliate program as well as the Cornerstone Content Challenge. A person wants to provide some sort of service that someone is searching through on the web. That person’s website will be the foundation on whatever information the is and the people who are searching for a particular topic. That particular topic is that person’s niche. Finding a niche is only the tip of the iceberg. Picking and finding the right keyword phrases are crucial in driving traffic to a person’s website. A person wants to have the right keyword phrases that people usually type into their computers/laptops/smartphones or whatever device they use to have them to come to that person’s site for the information they were searching. Picking the right keywords is how someone’s communicating with the people who is searching for a particular topic (Person’s niche) to help them draw to his or her website in order to connect and hopefully to build a relationship with the people who visits that person’s website so they can continue to come to that person site and maybe eventually subscribe to that person’s website. I had only one sole purpose in mind, which was to make money online. I am an introverted person, so forming relationship and connecting was the last thing on my mind. As I have been searching and looking for ways to make money online. The main and important reason to make money online and being successful is forming and building relationships with people online. So far, I am having a good time. Communication is the key to connecting with people and being successful. Thanks for reading. Please share, like, comment.
My other posts:
In my last post, Money-I Have Been Searching, I wrote about finding more than just making money online. I developed relationships with people through forums and other sites I had gone on in order to make money online. In this post, this will be a continuation from my last one.
Throughout my week long journey of finding ways to make money online, it has helped me grow, personally. I felt like I connected better with people than I have ever had before, because I am typically a reserved type person. I do not usually opened up to people that easy. I had felt very warmed and welcomed through the forums, sites into the communities of online people. This has made my experience on searching for ways to make money online very fun and exciting. At first for me, I felt scared. I did not know how people would treat me when I may ask them for help on ways of making money online. The experience had better than I was expecting. The amount of support was overwhelming. People were sending me links and other sites to my inboxes that would be useful to me in getting started on making money online. I know I cannot speak for everyone, but if you are someone who has thought of trying to make money online, you should go for it. There are ton of people who are willing and want to help you. Like I mentioned earlier, I was scared and kind of skeptical of finding ways to make money. I did not want to feel like I am bothering something if I were to ask for help; did not want to run into a lot of scams. Anyone can asks for help, like on a website called Quora, where people can go on an ask on ways to make money, or ask, do you think is a good site or a scam, etc. People will be very warming and be willing to answer any question that you may have. People online want to see other people succeed as well. That is what has my experience online so much fun. It is about connecting and building relationships with one another and wanting the best for each other. Thanks for reading. Please share, comment, and like.
First off, I would like to say, welcome. In my first post, I spoke about a personal story that influenced me into writing articles about wanting to try to make money online. Go here to read it, Everything You Need To Know About Getting Paid Taking Pictures!-Insider Secrets Into Earning Money. In this post, I will speak about you, the readers, and how you all feel about making money online. I know for me, it all revolved around my current situation. I was a recent graduate who was/and still is buried in all this student loan debt and could not find any job opportunity in the field that I went to school for, which was clinical research. Did any of the following situations speak to you about your current situation of wanting to make supplement income online, such as: You were living paycheck to paycheck, had very little to no leisure time for yourself or spending with family and friends, stressing over debt and outstanding bills, always working and have very little time of sleeping etc? If you were to make extra money online, say like, an additional $1,000/month, what would you do with that money? Would you plan a vacation with family or friends or both, starting eating out more, putting money into a savings or retirement account (IRA), buying another home or car, investing into stocks, etc? The possibilities are endless of what someone would do if he or she had an extra $1,000/month, just throwing a random number out there. That would be awesome. You would have financial freedom and would be feeling very empowering, to say the least. There would be no more stressing over bills, working all day and having little to no sleep, worrying about your future as far as retiring comfortably, and living paycheck to paycheck with the extra money coming into your account. With making money online, you would start feeling better and having more of a peace of mind, having better health since you would not be stressing over finance, having more of a greater sense of self-worth, and the main point, enjoying life. That is what it is all about, loving and enjoying life. We all only live once, so make the best of it. Thanks for reading. If you like, please share any experience or feeling that you have towards of making money online. Thanks once again and hope you enjoyed reading my post. Happy New Year!!!!
I would like to say, welcome, to anyone who is now discovering this post, and looking for a way to earn additional income. I want to start off by telling a little bit about myself, and why I am writing this article. I am a produce associate who works at Wal mart, and my luck has not been good at all. I have been working at Wal mart since I was in college obtaining a degree in clinical research. Now, I have the degree and still am working at Wal mart. I have applied endlessly to clinical research organizations to get out of Wal mart. While I love working with the people there, it is not getting me anywhere, and I am living paycheck to paycheck. I have been working at Walmart for over three years and had my degree for over two years. I have been trying to pay back my loans for over two years. I had to spent what little loan money I had left to pay off a chuck of my loans, borrow money from parents, friends and family. One day, I had said to myself, enough is enough. I am almost 28 years old and should be living better than this. There has to be a better way to earn money. I went browsing on the internet to look for ways to earn extra money. I saw sites where people can take surveys and earn cash or reward points, but those were for meager earnings. Then I said to myself, I should not be too picky, making anything on the web would be additional income for me to save and try to pay back loans, start up a savings account, or whatever to improve my situation. I kept browsing on the internet, reading articles on how to make money online, and then yesterday, I came across a site where I can get paid to take pictures. I was like, WHAT!!! I was thinking, I can take pictures, but was hoping there were not any strict requirements for me to do this. I got lucky, and it said, as long as you knew how to use a camera or smartphone, or any phone with a camera on it. I was like, this should be easy, since I already took pictures from time to time and upload them on social media. You might be wonder like me, how and why. When I first saw this site, “Why are companies paying people to do such a simple task that they can do themselves?” The answer is time. There are multi million dollar companies who want people like you to take ordinary pictures and are willing to pay for it, because they do not have enough time to do it themselves.
